About these figures

Official results for Council elections are published as a declaration of the winner, not a vote count, so this page shows no vote counts. Counts in press reports differ from one report to another.
Graduates' seats are elected by registered graduates living in the area, with a preferential ballot: voters rank the candidates, and lower preferences count when no one wins on first preferences.
Candidates appear here once a party announces them, with the report that says so. Parties are listed in the same order everywhere on this site.
